HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

We provide community-based, customizable homes and

support the residents with services that all people need to thrive.

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT
We support people,
to get and keep affordable housing. Anyone, just like you, can have a time in their lives when keeping a job, a home, or a car is difficult. It is frightening to not have enough money for food, medication, or for special needs. We know that "It takes a village" -- a community, actually, to have the support needed to succeed.

We are changing the 'typical' housing options into affordable community options combined with the support services needed to thrive
WHAT IS A HOME?
Homes come in all shapes and sizes, changing as individual needs change.
A home might be an efficiency apartment, a camper, a tiny home, a duplex, or a stand-alone residence.
Renewed Communities explores all of these options, providing choices and support for residents.

EFFICIENT USE OF RESOURCES

Renewed Communities supports many types of living styles and sizes. A home that is right for one person, might not be the solution for another.

The solutions could be an area for RVs, a group of efficiency apartments, duplexes that share common facilities, a collection of tiny homes, or a community of stand-alone family homes. Renewed Communities looks at all options so that safe affordable housing with options to own can be provided to the Hastings area.

A space and resource-saving solution ...

Pocket neighborhoods utilize city blocks and odd lots more efficiently, creating common shared spaces for recreation, gardens, and social spaces. Houses could shelter one family, or two. Houses could be larger to accommodate more family members, or smaller to match individual needs. Our houses are made for your needs.
